COLORADO SPRINGS AUTO REPAIR

First time customer. It was recommended by another business. First thing I noticed when I dropped off my vehicle was that the front area and shop was very tidy and squared away. They did a full inspection and told me what need immediate attention and what could wait. The man behind the counter, Dave, was very friendly. The second thing I noticed was that the company has been in business since 1956. That speaks volumes. A company isn't going to still be in business for that long if they are not any good. I also received a 10% discount, which was a nice surprise. They have my business for and I would recommend checking them out if your looking for a good honest place to take your vehicle.

Prior to getting my 2000 Cherokee to Groff's Automotive, I'd been chasing symptoms. My steering or suspension systems, or something, were just not functioning properly. Especially at higher speeds, keeping in my lane on the highway was unwieldy and unsafe. Traveling to Denver every Friday, going through the construction areas (the “narrows”) was, oh, invigorating. I'd checked Angie's List for good repair shops, had taken my Jeep to Hellem's for work on this, along with a couple other places. Hellem's is great but awful busy (last I knew, a few years ago). The last place replaced a bunch of suspension stuff and I still had trouble. Finally, I called FN Jeep, thinking they repaired Jeeps and, if not, could recommend where to go. The owner said: Jack's Alignment and Groff's Automotive, as that's where he takes his vehicles. I read some reviews, including on AngiesList.com (which I value for better accuracy) and found a couple troubling reviews on Groff's (only one on Angie's). I called the FN Jeep owner again, who told me they're stand up guys, the owner's name, and Groff's is where he takes his Jeeps when the work gets beyond him. So that's where I went, despite it being a long way from home (just south of Bradley on Hancock and I'm in Briargate). Dave test drove my Jeep, noting that the steering was wrong; it wouldn't return to center after a turn. They re-did part of the work done earlier and also something I'd done some years ago, which could have been poorly done. One part was key to steering and the other was a suspension component. Dave patiently explained how steering gears need to be handled with care to keep aligned properly. He went over what was done, how it drove afterwards, answered my various questions, and even went over what's typical in the industry when work is done improperly (I'd asked about the feasibility of going back to the previous shop on their warranty). In any case, I've now found a shop I can trust when work gets beyond what I can do. Thanks, Janice Mc.

I am so pleased we found Groff's Automotive when we did. I have had all my cars in their shop at one time or another. Groff's has delivered A+ service every time. Thank you.

I had new shocks & struts put on the car. They were flexible in getting me scheduled - and timely and efficient in getting the job done. Their shuttle service is reliable and the garage is very clean. Everyone is professional and friendly! So happy we found Groff's ... moving around in the military community, its not always easy to find a garage you can trust. We have been going to them since we moved here and will continue until we have to move again. Thank you for your exceptional work and business!

May 7th took my car into Groff's on Hancock in the Springs for 6 months check up. Mike called me later and recommended that I get new struts in front and shocks in back, because I knew that Mike wouldn't have told me this unless I really needed them. Mike and Brian has always been very honest and up front with me about my car maintenance and their cost for parts and labor are very fair. So of course I gave Mike the go ahead to do the struts and shocks for once again I knew it would be done right the first time and I wouldn't have to worry about anything. So beyond grateful I found out about Groff's a few years back!!!! So if you haven't try out Groff's on Hancock give them a call or better, stop by you won't be sorry!

I couldn't be more grateful for the team at Groff's. Mike has worked on my Jeep twice now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I know my Jeep is in good hands and I can count on the team at Groff's.

The shop went out of their way to get my truck fixed and explore options to save me money!

They had great customer service. I took my car in and there was a must take in parts but they got it fixed right away and I didn't have to wait for my car. They personally delivered my car to my house. I would highly recommend Groffs to everyone.
